So far it's holding 640/610 with a twin disk clutch, 1000hp ds, axles, and stubs. But they had methane injection, at least #42 injectors, engine girdle (i think) etc. The ring gaps inside these motors are so tight, its hard to safely make power above that without having a ring land failure.

The lt1 can handle up to around 700rwhp reliably, but there have been cases before that and after that where the ring gaps have caused issues. Bone stock internals at the time and i think it held up well, at least, i didn't hear anything bad happening.

The block and crank can take upwards of 900rwhp. Saying 10 bolts are weak isn't true because the 8.5 10 bolt can handle a lot of abuse.
